Cosmopolitan Hotel Hong Kong

I thought the Cosmpolitan Hotel in Hong Kong was OK but I definitely prefer the location of the BP International and (more importantly) the size of BP's rooms.

If you want a hotel with pretty nice, but extremely small rooms, the Cosmopolitan is for you. I am an American - I am used to having a little extra room. In Hong Kong this is a rare luxury - usually your room is just barely big enough to fit your body and your luggage.

I thought the Cosmopolitan would be different (based on the recommendation from a business associate), but I was wrong. It was the same. You really have to either pay a lot more or stay at the BP International if you want a decent-sized room in Hong Kong.

The restaurant upstairs was OK - a little overpriced, but that's to be expected. The internet is charged by the hour so upgrade to the executive room if possible (the executive room includes free wifi).

One nice thing about the Cosmopolitan is that you are just a short walk from the Hong Kong World Trade Center, a pretty cool shopping mall. I like wandering the side streets more myself and finding authentic Chinese food and cheap electronics - I did a fair amount of that but it's hit and miss in Hong Kong. If possible get recommendations from the locals and you'll be in heaven.
